Akin Bay and The Bridgehouse Group (“TBG”) have recently launched the Loan Portfolio Advisory Group (“LPAG”), a comprehensive distressed debt management business to assist lenders with troubled credits and loan portfolios.  The Loan Portfolio Advisory Group combines Akin Bay’s track record and financial services advisory platform with TBG’s extensive middle market investment, restructuring and loan workout experience as lenders and private equity investors.  LPAG's team collectively has over 150 years of investment banking, leveraged lending, equity investment and workout experience that will provide lower middle market lenders with a unique “One Stop Shop” service offering for proactively and discretely addressing their troubled assets.

LPAG provides a full suite of advisory and management services that enable lower middle-market lenders to decisively address legacy issues and pursue new opportunities in lower middle-market lending and investing.  LPAG's services are broken into 4 main service categories: (1) work closely with lenders to determine the best course of action for particular problem loans or portfolio of distressed loans, (2) a customized suite of portfolio evaluation and exit services, (3) assists lenders with systematically and objectively assessing what could be done better and what are the implications for their go forward strategy, and (4) develop a specific go forward strategy and lenders to put in place disciplined new business programs designed to take advantage of the attractive current credit market.
